Berlin, Deutschland - Berlin-UFO research is more than just a real hype! Hansjürgen Köhler, founder of the renowned central research center for extraordinary sky phenomena (Cenap), explains that the organization * are not * ufologists who speak of an alien presence on earth. According to Köhler, such stories are completely unfounded and exceed any evidence. Cenap has processed over 11,000 reports in over 50 years, but there are currently 119 open cases without clear answers - because there are often no essential data! The UFO analyzes show nothing supernatural, but reveal everyday causes.

Köhler emphasizes that UFOs are defined as * unidentified flight objects * - they are the point of contact for those who observe inexplicable symptoms. The type of reports has changed a lot over the decades: from mini hot balloons in the 80s, about disco headlights in the 90s, today's drones and even satellites that drive the sightings to new heights. Elon Musk and his Starlink satellites in particular increased the entrance to UFO reports by up to 300 percent! This year, until October 20, there were already over 850 cases - a trend reversal that promises more than 1,000 sightings by the end of the year!

But how does cenap examine the messages? First the date, the time and the exact location of the sighting are recorded. The astronomical data of the area are then evaluated - such as planetary positions, overflowing satellites and reports on flight campaigns of aircraft. Photos and videos are compared with a huge archive that has existed since Cenap was founded in 1973. As a rule, the objective origins of sightings can be identified.

Köhler confirms that the reports come from * all * age groups and professional groups and usually seek a rational explanation of their observations. While 99 percent are simply curious, there is still one percent that the hope of having seen an alien spaceship, only to be disappointed when an earthly explanation is delivered.
