Loud bang ensures police operation: young people ignite fireworks!
A loud bang ensured a surprising police operation in Villingen-Schwenningen on Sunday evening, October 27th. The police and a helicopter from Stuttgart were on site and checked the situation, but the calm after the storm did not exist for long. It got loud again at night, and that caused an alarm mood!
fireworks and nightly excitement
Around midnight, the police received a hint from a concerned witness who had observed young people as they ignited fireworks in Bärengasse. Police spokesman Dieter Popp confirmed that patrol cars immediately moved out, but the young people disappeared before the police arrived. But the nightly spectacle was not over: a woman from the spa area also reported to the authorities after hearing a bang - it was even heard at two and a half kilometers away!
A new bang wakes the city
at 4.40 a.m. it was time again: two loud bang noises echoed across the city, this time from Christel-Pache-Straße in the new residential area Richthofark. The police were quickly on hand, but all efforts to find the source of noise were unsuccessful. "We cannot currently say whether these noises are connected to the young people in Bärengasse," said Popp. It is also speculated that Wilderer or other "jokes" could be behind the nightly crackling. The case will continue to be examined and the police are on it!
