Horror night in Schwenningen: Man and dog attacked by hunting dogs!
A shocking incident shaked Villingen-Schwenningen! Denis Lo Verde, a 45-year-old restaurateur, was brutally attacked by two bad hunting dogs during a night walk with his dog Liam, an American Stafford Mischling. What started as a harmless evening walk ended in a bloody nightmare!
Lo Verde had already hit the two hunting dogs - a Weimaraner and a Ridgeback - and their owners beforehand. But on this fateful evening everything was different. "I saw the dogs from afar and wanted to flee," reported Lo Verde. But the animals were faster. Within minutes he was involved in a tough fight by the aggressive dogs, while the two men who led them only watched helplessly. "I was bitten in the lower leg and forearm twenty times," he said shaken.

The attack that lasted around five minutes left Lo Verde on the ground, while the perpetrators simply went away. The police and ambulances called passers -by, and his wounds were treated in the clinic. Liam also had to go to the vet because of his injuries. Against the owners of the dogs are now being determined for negligent bodily harm and failure to provide assistance.
The consequences of this trauma are devastating: Lo Verde suffers from post -traumatic stress disorder and has been unable to work since the incident. His loyal companion Liam also shows changes in behavior and is looked after by a dog therapist. "I can no longer sleep calmly, always on my hat," admitted Lo Verde. To protect himself, he completely changed his walks. "Now we are going somewhere else, the risk of meeting men and their dogs again is just too big for me!"
