The upswing of his business is no coincidence. The possession and consumption of cannabis in Germany has been legal since April 1! Adults are allowed to own up to 50 grams at home and carry up to 25 grams in public. But be careful: there is a ban on smoking near schools, daycare centers and sports facilities. Oilberg, who ran a smaller shop two years ago, speculated on this change in the law and has now used his chance.

The demand is huge! Oilberg even considers offering courses for cultivation because many customers come to him with pictures of their sickly plants. He also plans the opening of a cannabis samen bank to offer seeds from Spain. The location of his shop is somewhat hidden, but the good connection and parking are attracted to various customers-from young adults to pensioners who are captivated with grow material.

But that's not all! Oilberg has founded a social club for cannabis cultivation and is now waiting for the growing license from the Freiburg regional council. From July 1, 2024, applications for cannabis growing associations can be made in Baden-Württemberg. So far there are 64 applications in the country, including three from Villingen-Schwenningen. Oilberg is optimistic because the last meeting with the police was positive. But the license allocation is tied to strict editions.
