A summer evening in the city of Tuttlingen would have given little sign of a dangerous offense until a vehicle on Donaueschinger Straße with shocking 216 km/h was recorded. This happened on September 17th at 8:45 p.m., where the speed limit is set at 50 km/h. According to Benjamin Hirsch, the head of the civil service and population protection department, the speed has set up a "sad record", because such high speeds were previously unknown in the urban area.

Especially Donaueschinger Straße, a former route of the B 311, has become a popular racetrack for speed lovers due to its straight and reduced traffic volume in the evening.
