Large construction work in Nendingen: Bridge and passage through the town are being renovated!

In Nendingen, big changes are imminent! From spring 2026 the Danube bridge on the L277 between Tuttlingen and Nendingen will be renovated. But that's not all: a makeshift bridge is installed beforehand, a result of protracted negotiations between the country, the city and the district. These measures are part of a comprehensive plan that is supposed to significantly improve the infrastructure in the region.

Restoration of the place through

After the bridge renovation follows the basic renovation of the Nending Council. This work is of crucial importance for the coming years because they concern the design of the center. According to the head of construction Florian Steinbrenner, a Europe -wide tender for planning will take place next year, since the costs for the project will be over five million euros.

The schedule is ambitious: by the end of 2025 the planning team should stand, followed by design work in 2026, in which the citizens should also be involved. "We want to start the measure of rock solid planned," emphasizes treasurer Jürgen Fischer. The financial resources are already planned in the city's budget plans, with a total of 6.15 million euros for planning and implementation.

Traffic regulations during construction work

During the renovation of the passage, there will be special traffic regulations. The Nendinginger can continue to drive through their location, while heavy goods traffic must be redirected. "We cannot lead 40-tonneers through the side streets of Nendingen," clarifies Steinbrenner. The measures will not take place at the same time, which means that there will be no full closure that paralyzes traffic over a long time.
