"The excellent municipalities set standards in traffic and urban planning!" emphasized Hermann and pointed out that the quality of the cycle and footpaths not only benefits the environment, but also the health of the citizens.
a network for safe mobility
The working group bicycle and foot traffic-friendly municipalities in Baden-Württemberg (AGFK-BW) has set itself the goal of continuously working on a livable and safe traffic area. With 120 partner municipalities in the network, the implementation of the Vision Zero - a future without a traffic center - is actively being implemented. Günter Riemer explained: "The commitment of the member municipalities shows that we will further improve traffic safety and infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists together." A future-oriented dialogue about safe traffic conditions will continue on the AGFK day 2024 in Tübingen, where current topics and innovative approaches are discussed.
The AGFK network not only promotes individual mobility, but also a respectful community in public space. With continuous cycle and footpath networks, safe intersections and speed reductions in urban areas, the basis for safe mobility is laid. The Icession of well -organized traffic conditions is crucial for the well -being of the citizens and is still vigorously promoted by the municipalities.
