Talents despite hurdles: Calwer students receive scholarship for education!

Mohammad Akhtari, a 17-year-old refugee youth from Calw, was awarded the scholarship “Talent in the country”. This scholarship is aimed at students who have to overcome special hurdles and aims to promote equal opportunities in education. Akhtari is one of 55 scholarship holders selected in Baden-Württemberg to develop their potential.

Akhtari currently visits the business high school on the Wimberg and started its entrance year there in September. He will soon enter the course level, which is a significant step in his academic career.

The scholarship program "Talent in the Land" was initiated in 2003 and is committed to fair educational opportunities in Baden-Württemberg.
