Creative spot opened: Atelier Tamtam brings momentum to the Westend!
In the west of Stuttgart, the “Atelier Tamtam” has opened and offers a new creative space for artists and interested parties. The opening took place on December 8, 2024 after the studio was renovated for two months. Founder: Inside Chrissi and Basti, this project would like to create a place that promotes inspiration, exchange and work together.
The studio is located not far from the S-Bahn stop Schwabstrasse, between the Café Carlo and a kebab shop in Rotebühlstraße 88a. Visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a creative atmosphere, try them out and feel good. The name "Tamtam" stands for the exciting and chaotic, which reflects the desire of the founders: to enable a creative exchange and the joint creation of art.
diverse workshops and programs
The studio offers a monthly program of workshops that currently contain the "Print & Pattern Workshop", among other things, in which Japanese Shibori and pressure rollers are conveyed. There is also a "Mini Print Studio for Kids" that is specifically designed for children between the ages of 7 and 12. In the future, readings and exhibitions will also be planned to further diversify the creative offer.
currently the studio has no fixed opening times, but accepts inquiries for external events. Chrissi brings her experiences as a graphic designer, illustrator, art teacher and creative researcher, while Basti is known for his perfectionist approach and the focus on constructing.
