A dramatic incident in Weil der Stadt causes excitement! On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, around 1:10 p.m., there was a possible traffic accident in Merklinger Straße, in which a 66-year-old BMW driver was involved. The woman was on the way to the city center when she wanted to enable a 13 to 14 year old boy to cross the street. But instead of pressing the brake pedal, she accidentally pressed the accelerator pedal! The result? A shocking scenario in which the boy was presumably touched with the exterior mirror of the vehicle.

The driver reacted immediately and turned to return to the pedestrian crossing. But the boy was gone! He is described as a short -haired man, wore dark trousers and had a satchel with him. The Leonberg police are now urgently looking for witnesses who can provide relevant information on this incident.
