In a gripping competition that brought the Frankfurt-Höchst swimming pool to shake, the men and women from VfL Sindelfingen competed in the German team competition (DMS). While the men shone with a strong fifth place in the 2nd Bundesliga and secured their relegation, the women unfortunately had to accept the relegation to the top division. But despite the setbacks, the atmosphere was electrifying when fans cheered on their teams with drums and chants.

The DMS is not just a competition, but a festival of the team spirit that unites swimmers of all ages. Not only the top athletes swim here, but also young talents and former professionals who share their passion for sport. For VfL Sindelfingen, this meant that both teams had to deal with a total of 34 single routes, with each athlete being allowed to go into the water a maximum of five times. The men showed a closed team performance right from the start and asserted themselves in midfield, while the women fought to the last route despite illness -related failures and minimal occupation.
