Rat alarm in Ostrach: How to protect your home from vermin!

Rat alarm in Ostrach! The municipality raises the alarm and asks the citizens to report every rat infestation immediately. The fear of the uninvited guests is great, and not without reason! The authorities warn of a possible increase in rat population, especially through the currently high water level that drives the animals to the surface. Mayor Lena Burth emphasizes: "Together we can fix the problem quickly and prevent spread!"

Reporting of rat infestation is mandatory!

In Ostrach, citizens are legally obliged to report rat infestation. The municipality's newsletter makes it clear: "The early report is crucial for the health and security of the community." But while Ostrach is still waiting for reports, things look very different in the neighboring community of Krauchenwies. There are already confirmed rat cases here, and the owners concerned work with a specialized company to get the problem under control.

Rats from the toilet? A rumor!

Rumors about rats that appear from toilet cubes, were quickly invalidated by Krauchenwies' local architect Klaus Hipp: "So far, the animals have only been on the property. I have really heard nothing of to be heard." In order to avoid rat infestation, there are clear recommendations: waste containers must be firmly closed, garbage may only be disposed of in the contained containers, and feed sources for pets should not be left openly.

Hygiene and cleanliness are the be-all and end-all! Open places near the ground should be secured with close grids to deny access to the uninvited guests. The situation is serious and the communities now have to act to keep the rat plague in check!
