New suction system for Mariaberg: Future of the wood workshop secured!
The sibling Kessel Foundation supported the Diakonisches Establishment Mariaberg e.V. with EUR 4,500 in an impressive step! This generous funding enables the purchase of a state -of -the -art suction system for the wooden training workshop. A real profit for the trainees who can now work in a safe and professional environment!
Currently there are six students in the wood workshop in vocational preparation and ten young people are completing their training as a specialist practitioner for woodworking. These young people who live in the residential offers of the facility are optimally prepared for the first job market. The old suction system was no longer efficient enough, which is why the new technology was urgently needed. A real progress for training!

When visiting the wood workshop, Dr. Wolfgang Beckmann and Rüdiger von Danckelmann from the Geschwister-Kessel Foundation impresses the positive effect of the funding. Wolfgang Reiser, a teacher in the workshop, thanked: "In order to prepare the young people as best as possible for reality in the 1st job market, we need machines that are up to date. Thank you for making this possible."
The Geschwister Kessel Foundation, founded in Langenslingen in 2010, is committed to non-profit and charitable purposes, especially in the area of wood. It supports people who need help due to physical, mental or mental restrictions. Mariaberg offers young people with restrictions training in 24 professions and prepares them step by step for the world of work. A strong network for a better future!
