The authority has the right to carry out controls to ensure security, with the recent normalization of the controls after pandemeine cuts. A note from the city administration explains that these regulations are not new and that all gun owners should be familiar, which only reinforces the uncertainties among the hunters.

It is therefore more important for hunters than ever to adhere to the legal requirements in order not to endanger their gun law permits. "If you comply with your retention obligations, you have nothing to fear during a check," said a legal reference from the industry. A constructive cooperation between hunters and the authorities could also help strengthen confidence in legal gun owners while the strict controls continue.
