Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg: founding-friendly, but no finale!
Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg: founding-friendly, but no finale!
In an exciting competition in Stuttgart, the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg region was again awarded "founding-friendly"! A jury from creative minds selected 17 municipalities that were able to secure this coveted title. The award underlines the dynamic founding culture in the region and shows that the best conditions for start-ups are created here.
Jana Tisch, the regional manager of BWCON, and Henriette Stanley, managing director of the regional business development agency, represented the region in the pitch competition. They proudly presented the concept of the SBH founder garden, which acts as an ecosystem for founders. "As in a real garden we have every project," said Stanley, adding table: "Our founding garden needs diversity and cooperation to thrive!"
The criteria for success
The selection criteria were tough: from the needs-oriented address of the founders to measurable sales potential and the sustainability of the measures. Despite an impressive presentation and the support of 32 declarations of intent of circles and municipalities, it was not enough for the final on December 3. "Of course we are disappointed that it was not enough for a final place," said Stanley. "But that doesn't mean reducing our activities - on the contrary!"
The Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg region remains a hotspot for founders and innovators who find the support you need to make your ideas bloom. The trip continues and the region is determined to further strengthen its start -up culture!
