In October 2023, the renowned Rutz restaurant in Berlin continues to lead the ranking of Germany's best restaurants. The three-star restaurant underpinned its top position with 139.8 points. It is 0.2 points in front of the Black Forest room in Baiersbronn, which takes second place. This development is particularly important, since both restaurants had been in the ranking in the ranking since January 2024 and the Rutz took over the sole management position in the middle of the year. In third place, the Sonnora remains in Dreis and the Aqua in Wolfsburg, the distance of which is now seven tenths.

The ranking was largely updated by new ratings recorded in September. The Victor’s Fine Dining by Christian Bau in Perl-Einnig continues fifth, followed by Jan in Munich and the Schanz in Piesport. The Bareiss in Baiersbronn and the Vendôme in Bergisch Gladbach have still retained their positions and occupy the eighth and ninth place. The top ten are completed by the Table in Hamburg.

In the top 200 there is also gratifying messages to report. The Eichhalde restaurants in Freiburg (from 123 to 122), pure gourmet restaurant in Berchtesgaden (from 144 to 143), Haebel in Hamburg (from 155 to 154), the dining room in Schwendi (from 173 to 172) and the 1950 in Hayingen (from 199 to 186) recorded all new best values.

The current ranking includes a total of 4,592 restaurants, which represents a decline of 34 restaurants compared to September. A total of 456 restaurants could either achieve a higher score or were newly included in the list. The Macionga restaurant in Berlin, which was able to collect the most points in the past month, is particularly outstanding. On the other hand, 45 local losses had to accept.

In addition, the KOMU in Munich gained the most points in the current October Ranking 2023, followed by the Petit Amour in Hamburg and the already mentioned Macionga in Berlin.
