Living typing campaign for Nina Brugger in Schwenningen!
A life is on the brink! The 36-year-old Nina Brugger from Schwenningen received the shocking diagnosis on September 20: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML). After chemotherapy at the Freiburg University Hospital, which did not bring the hoped -for success, a stem cell donor is now urgently asked!
to help Nina organizes her family on Saturday, November 9th. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., all healthy people between the ages of 17 and 55 can be typed in the firefly kita, Peter-Henlein-Straße 17/1, 78056 Schwenningen. The procedure is child's play: a simple cheek smear with a cotton swab is sufficient! There is a bouncy castle for the little ones, and the physical well -being is also taken care of. However, since the typing causes costs of around 50 euros, the Freiburg stem cell file asks for donations to support the action.
difficult times for the family
Nina Brugger has already completed her first chemotherapy, but the news is alarming: "80 to 90 percent of the cancer cells are still there," said her brother Marc Mehne. Nina is again in the university clinic and receives high -dose chemotherapy. The situation is particularly stressful for your children. The youngest son, only two years old, does not understand why he can't hug his mom. You can visit the two older siblings once a week with a mask - a hard blow for the family.
"We are all very affected and support where we can," says Marc Mehne. The typing campaign on November 9 could be the key to saving Nina. "It is important to draw attention to this disease and show how crucial it is to register," he emphasizes. Everyone can be able to rely on help - now there is time to act!
