An exciting day for the new legal trainees at the Rottweil district court! Mayor Christian Ruf received her in the historic council hall and opened the doors to a world full of legal possibilities. "The legal clerkship is a unique opportunity to experience the various legal professions and our region up close," enthuses Florian Diekmann, President of the Regional Court. Twelve young talents have chosen this challenge, which underlines the excellent reputation of training!

The trainee, which mostly did not come from Rottweil, were warmly welcomed. Among other things, he informed about the upcoming abolition of the objection procedure in the state building regulations and the construction of a new correctional facility with over 500 detention places. Diekmann thanked for the warm welcome and the valuable insights into the everyday work of the city. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the trainee lawyers and the experienced lawyers at the district court. "We are pleased that you have chosen Rottweil. In two years we hope to welcome you as new colleagues in the judiciary, attorney or administration," said Diekmann. The legal trainee, which follows the studies and the first state examination, leads the young lawyers through various stations to optimally prepare them for the second state examination.

The first five months spend the trainee in the civil department of the regional court or in one of the six district courts in the district. This is followed by the penalty station, which many complete at the Rottweil public prosecutor. Here you have the option of taking on session services in criminal proceedings. You will then be open to lawyers and administrative authorities before preparing for the final exams. An exciting adventure begins!
