Big day for Tennenbronn: Canal construction for new multi -purpose hall started!
"A big day for Tennenbronn!" - On Friday, the community celebrated the starting signal for the canal building on the village pond, a crucial step on the way to the long -awaited new multi -purpose hall. Mayor Manfred Moosmann emphasized the importance of this moment, while Mayor Dorothee Eisenlohr prepared a festival for the senses: sparkling wine, juice and delicious snacks accompanied the solemn speeches.
The work is essential to redirect the waste water from Langenschiltach - exactly where the multifunctional hall is to be created. Enormous costs of over 13 million euros are calculated about the overall project, a sum that deviated dramatically from the original 5.5 million euros. "The earth we are now moving costs us 415,000 euros, but that's just the beginning," said Eisenlohr.
Hall of superlative
Despite the financial challenges, the city promises a multi -purpose hall that leaves nothing to be desired: sophisticated media technology, spectacular acoustics and innovative heated floors thanks to geothermal probes. But before the start of construction, a decisive approval is missing. Fortunately, the development plan is being worked on, and with smooth planning, everything could be dry next spring. "A flood area does not have to stop us when everything goes well," said Eisenlohr. The construction could be completed in two to three years.
Moosmann, who smashed the skeptics of the past few years, thanked the committed community, which has already founded a support association to mobilize financial support for the hall. "This step is a success for all Tennenbronner!" He called enthusiastically. The channel building is the start, but this is followed by a short break, while the final approval is waited. "Every step takes us closer to our new cultural home," concluded Moosmann.
