A frosty morning put the Rottweil district into the winter mood! Many drivers had to free their vehicles from a thick layer of ice on Tuesday morning. A real winter greeting that brought the first frosty temperatures of the year.

Although the temperatures are supposed to rise to mildly 15 degrees during the day, the night experienced an icy descent to freezing. For many it was the first real foretaste of the cold season - and that meant: disc heating or ice scraper were in demand! The frosty conditions ensured that sensitive plants must now be finally brought to the winter camp.

The next nights promise somewhat milder temperatures, but the cold season is far from over. It will be frosty again in the middle of next week, and the residents of the Rottweil district should prepare for further winter surprises. A real winter dream or a frosty nightmare?
