But the Lemberg tower is not only known for its fantastic views! In 1890 the idea was born to build him, and in 1899 the impressive steel specialist tower was completed, which was reminiscent of the famous Eiffel tower in his construction. No wonder that he also wears the nickname "Eiffel Tower of the Alb"! With a weight of 23 tons, this building is a true masterpiece of engineering.
Below the tower, a shelter of the Swabian Alb Association invites the hikers to a cozy break. The popular Albsteig (HW1) and Donauflandflandweg hiking trails lead directly over and offer the perfect opportunity for a visit. The Lembergturm is not only an attraction for tourists, but also for everyone who wants to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Swabian Alb.
