Youth leadership training in Landau: Dare, make the difference!

In March 2025, the district youth care southern Weinstrasse organizes a comprehensive training course for training in the youth leader training in the Haus der Jugend in Landau. The training takes place on two dates: from March 14th to 16th and from March 28th to 30th. The event is aimed at young people aged 15 and over as well as adults who are active in youth work or want to volunteer.

The participation fee is 10 euros and includes the meals during the event. In order to acquire or renew the youth leader card (Juleica), the participants have to take part in every day and successfully complete a first aid course. The Juleica is a nationwide uniform ID for volunteers in youth work and enables access to regional and supra -regional benefits.

content and organization of training

The training includes various main topics, including:

• supervisory duty
• liability and insurance law
• group processes
• Violence and addiction prevention
• dealing with challenging situations

The training is made up of theoretical basics and practical exercises. The training is organizer of the training in the district youth care Süw, the youth promotion of the city of Landau and the district of Jugendring. The training begins on Fridays at 4.30 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. Saturdays are trained from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A minimum age of 15 years is required for participation in the training. In order to maintain the Juleica, the participants must be at least 16 years old and present an extended police certificate.
