Stuttgart, November 12, 2024 - Mobile phone supply in the Ravensburg district has made a huge leap forward! Deutsche Telekom has not only installed a new LTE location in the past two months, but also a 5G location. This means a massive improvement in network coverage and range for residents and travelers in the region. The new locations are located in Kißlegg and Leutkirch in the Allgäu and are strategically placed along the A96 motorway and the important railway line in Baden-Württemberg-Süd.

"The need for bandwidth is constantly increasing - around 30 percent per year. That is why we continue to pace in mobile phone expansion," explains Lena Raschke, company spokeswoman for Deutsche Telekom. With a total of 109 mobile radio locations in the Ravensburg district, Telekom achieves a budget coverage of impressive 98 percent. But that's just the beginning! A further 55 locations are planned by 2026, and extensions with LTE or 5G are to be carried out on 57 existing radio masts.

The future of mobile communications

Telekom is dependent on cooperation with municipalities and property owners in order to secure the necessary areas for the new locations. If you want to rent an area for a roof or mast location, you can contact the German radio tower directly. With over 36,000 mobile radio locations in operation and around 1,500 new locations annually, Telekom is doing everything possible to raise mobile phone supply in Germany to a new level.
