For the first time care price in the Ravensburg district: Apply now!

The district of Ravensburg sets a powerful sign of recognition in the care sector! In 2025, a nursing price will be awarded for the first time that rewards the outstanding achievements of nurses, relatives and volunteers. Under the aegis of District Administrator Harald Sievers, this prize should appreciate the valuable work of nursing staff and the dedication of nursing family members and stimulate them.

The official award ceremony will take place on February 17, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., and the nursing price is endowed with a total of 4,500 euros. Individuals can be awarded in four categories: caring relatives, volunteers, nursing children and young people as well as full -time nurses. Each of these outstanding commitment is rewarded with 500 euros and the award winners are determined by a lottery procedure.

In addition, a special price is awarded to institutions, services and initiatives that convince with innovative concepts in nursing care. The special prize is endowed with 2,500 euros and is intended to appreciate the development and implementation of exemplary projects. Institutions in the Ravensburg district can apply until December 1st, and the best suggestions are evaluated by an independent jury of experts.

This initiative is part of the "Care in the focus" campaign, which aims to address the challenges in the nursing sector and to improve the often negative image of the nursing professions. Let's celebrate the services of the nurses together - every contribution counts!
