The wave of car breakouts in the Rastatt district continues to roll! After a series of burglaries in the region, it has now hit Muggensturm. The police assume a clear mate, and the crime doesn't seem to end!

In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, between 7:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m., the car nacks in Muggensturm were active. An unknown person violently broke into a VW and stole a jacket worth over 200 euros. But that was just the beginning! Several travel cases, electrical appliances and a wallet with content were stolen from a Skoda - the damage amounts to several thousand euros! A cell phone and cigarettes also disappeared from a VW that was parked in the courtyard in Schubertstrasse. The thieves seem to have found a real feast!

Although the police in Bietigheim recently arrested two alleged perpetrators, the situation remains tense. These arrests were made after an alarm system and an attentive witness alerted the police. The witness observed the suspects and immediately informed the officials who quickly intervened and caught the young people with stolen goods. But the investigation is far from over! Cars were also broken open in other streets of Bietigheim, such as Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Straße and Gartenstraße.

The police are now investigating whether these incidents in Muggensturm are connected to the other cars in the region. "This is obvious," says Rüdiger Schappep, press spokesman for the Offenburg police headquarters. The officials are in constant exchange to stop this criminal wave.
