Bad Bertrich, Deutschland - The Mozart Week Eifel 2024 are back and promise an unforgettable experience in the Bad Bertrich state pool! After a three -year break, the Pforzheim Southwest German Chamber Orchestra will perform on November 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the impressive cultural area. Under the direction of the renowned conductor Georg Mais, the ensemble, consisting of 14 talented musicians from seven nations, will enter the stage and enchant the listeners with masterpieces of Mozart, Haydn and Tchaikovsky.

The concert begins with Mozart's popular Divertimento D-major KV 136, an early work that inspired the masses during Mozart's lifetime. As a soloist, the internationally celebrated cellist Wen-Sinn Yang, known for his impressive appearances and his role as a professor at the Munich University of Music, will present concert No. 1 for violoncello and orchestra by Joseph Haydn.
