Pforzheim, Deutschland - A spectacular accident happened in Pforzheim! A 42-year-old driver of a small van came off the road at around 5 p.m. on Saturday, broke a fence and fell through a small wall directly onto the track bed of the Nagoldtal and Albtalbahn. The truck tipped aside and paralyzed rail traffic. Fortunately, the driver was not injured. The property damage is estimated at around 20,000 euros, the police said. The rescue work was complex and led to considerable disorders in rail traffic, which the situation also complicated, such as Badische Zeitung reported.
Because of the clean -up work, Kelterstraße also had to be closed, which bothered the traffic in the area. So far, the reason for the abrupt departure from the road is unclear. Eyewitnesses report a chaotic scene when the rescue and recovery services arrived. The small truck, which was on the side, required technical equipment for clearing.
