Refurbishment of the L1075: Abtsgmünd streets now safer for everyone!
Abtsgmünd, Deutschland - The state road 1075 between Abtsgmünd and Bronnen has been released for traffic again after extensive renovation work. This measure, which extended over a period of around six months and was associated with costs of 2.99 million euros, was carried out by the Ostalb district for the state of Baden-Württemberg. Together with Abtsgmünd Mayor Armin Kiemel and other representatives, the route has now been officially opened after numerous structural improvements were implemented over a length of around 2.7 kilometers, such as Schwaebische-post.de reported.
The renovation of the L 1075 was urgently necessary because the old condition of the road was significantly impaired by cracks, lowering and lane formation. The road expansion also includes widening to 5.5 meters as well as comprehensive adjustments to the drainage systems and traffic safety. Particularly dangerous crops and curves were defused to meet today's driving standard. The renovation of another section within the Abtsgmünd area will also follow in the coming year, such as the Remszeitung.de reported.
