The Offenburg tunnel causes excitement! During the four -week open position of the planning approval documents, citizens had the opportunity to ask their burning questions. Karl Bäuerle from the Bahntrasse citizens' initiative reports on the concerns of the concerned residents. In the first two weeks, an average of 20 people flocked every day to find out more, but the interest then dropped noticeably.

The main questions revolved around the effects of the project on the citizens: have to sell residents? What noise loads are to be expected during construction and operation? Some concerned voices even feared the fear that the Burgerwaldsee could possibly be filled. The uncertainty hovers over the heads of the citizens and drives them!

The last opportunity to clarify questions is imminent! There will be another round of information on Tuesday morning, November 5. Here, citizens can directly address their concerns to those responsible and hopefully receive calming answers. The tension remains high and the residents hope for clear information about this controversial project!
