72-year-old freed from car after a horror accident in Offenburg!

A dramatic accident occurred on the night on Landesstraße 98 near Offenburg: a 72-year-old driver rasted head-on to a tractor-trailer. As the police report, the man apparently got into oncoming traffic for no apparent reason. The impact was so violent that his vehicle was completely destroyed and it remained trapped in his wreck.

The fire brigade had to get out to free the seriously injured driver from the car, which was then taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the truck driver only suffered minor injuries, but his tractor-trailer is no longer ready to drive. The road was closed until the morning due to the rescue work.
