The Northeim police pulled three drivers out of circulation on Saturday night. Two drivers were found under the suspicion of drug use. A 31-year-old from Baden-Württemberg showed a positive preliminary test on cannabis consumption, while a 22-year-old from Northeim showed physical abnormalities. Blood samples were taken from both men and they were prohibited from continuing. In addition, an administrative offense procedure was initiated.

Another affected driver, a 24-year-old from Uslar, had a value of almost 1.3 per thousand in a breath alcohol test. A blood sample was also taken from him and his driver's license was confiscated, which prevented him from continuing his journey.
