The experienced restaurateur Stefan Kempf, known for his Ionis gastronomy businesses, has been awarded the contract for the takeover of the former "Dinges" restaurant in the farmstyle of the town hall. This happened as part of a selection process that the city management of the city of Wertheim started in July. The previous operator was forced to close the restaurant due to lack of staff and age reasons.

Kempf, who has been successful with his Burgermeisterei in Wertheim since 2017, is now moving to the new location, which is ideal near the urban administration. The new location on the Tauberufer offers numerous advantages, including open spaces for outdoor catering and good accessibility through parking spaces on the opposite side. The renovation work begins from mid -November, and the Burgermeisterei is to be opened at the end of November or early December.
