Möfelder Kerwe: A festival full of laughs and bizarre stories!

A special kind of spectacle developed in Möfeld on Friday! Over 50 Kerweburschen and Meedli pulled through the streets during the traditional Kerweuzug, equipped with a ladder car, the Kerweflahne and a good dose of good mood. Under the watchful eye by Kerwepperer Tom Grein and Kerwemag Tim Theis, the residents were invited to happy schnapps stations in order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Möfelder Kerwegesellschaft. The atmosphere was exuberant when the Kerweborsch with the catchy song "Now the Möfelder Kerb is do" marched into the Main Valley Hall.

curiosities and anecdotes

Kerwepher Grein had come up with something very special for the celebrations. He presented the most bizarre stories of the past year in an indicated form. From shocked buildings who were confronted with horrendous prices for building ground, to a failed renovation project, in which a former Kerweborsch with a compressed air hammer hit the ground - the laughs were on his side. The chaotic outward journey of some football fans for an international match was also humorously discussed when her car went on strike and she had to be picked up by the mother. And not to forget the fitness trainer who got into a cheerful confusion when picking up honey jars.

The highlight of the evening was the highly expected dance around the goose! Steffi and Patrick Grän as well as Claudia and Oliver Amend stood in the final. Steffi and Patrick drew all the eyes with a thrilling solo dance inlay, in which they wore the stuffed goose on their backs. The thunderous applause of the Kerwegesellschaft was the well -deserved reward for their performance. The atmosphere was electrifying and the joy of the successful evening was written in the face.
