Mulled wine prices explode: Politics demands price lid for enjoyment!

The average price for a glass of mulled wine is now almost five euros and can even exceed seven euros in some cities. Despite these increasing prices, mulled wine prices in many large Christmas markets in Baden-Württemberg remain largely stable. A survey has shown that the prices remain mostly unchanged, except in Freiburg, where the price was raised to 4.50 euros. Van Aken's political demand could, however, encounter resistance, since the operators are also faced with increased stand fees.
