Karlsruhe, Deutschland - Experience the winter miracle in the zoological city garden in Karlsruhe! The fascinating "Christmas Garden" opens its gates from November 27th and promises a spectacular sea of lights! After the triumphant debut with around 55,000 visitors last year, the event set new standards in 2023. The dazzling light art is combined with specially composed music and transforms the green oases into magical winter landscapes!

This magical circular route, which can be admired by January 6, contains almost 30 breathtaking installations! Zoo director Matthias Reinschmidt has high hopes of an even stronger influx this year, especially after the rainy winter 2022 has affected the number of spectators. Absolutely new this year: the captivating motif "dance of the stars" and a fascinating "bell play", which is guaranteed to be in high demand as a photo spot. But that's not all - the already proven "sea of lights" spreads out on an incredible 1,000 square meters and makes the event greater and more glamorous than ever!

But the sparking splendor has its price! Normal zoo entry tickets do not apply, ticket prices vary for adults from 19.50 to 23.50 euros. In the evening, a surcharge of two euros is due. For families there are special online offers on the family days, December 4th and 11th-a real bargain for up to five people from just 39 euros! And zoo annual card holder can look forward to a small discount of 2.38 euros.

originally started in Berlin in 2016, the Christmas Garden has now gained a foothold in 21 locations in six countries! From the magical Barcelona to the magnificent lights in Paris - this event now attracts the masses and brings festive joy to the hearts of bedrooms far beyond the borders of the city!
