In today's dawn, there was an attempted break-in in a residential building in Bretzfeld-Bitzfeld. Afterwards, two unknown perpetrators sought to get into private space unauthorized. According to the Heilbronn police headquarters, this happened around 3:30 a.m. when the burglars first broke up a garden hut on the family home in Merowingerstrasse. After their first attempt, they hit a window pane in the basement, which frightened the owner and led to an immediate alarm by the police.

The police reacted quickly and initiated a comprehensive search that was even supported by a police helicopter. Unfortunately, the search was unsuccessful.
