On Sunday, November 10, 2024, the traditional Bundenthaler will be brought to life! For the first time, day trippers from the Rhein-Neckar region can travel conveniently to the Southwest Palatinate without bypassing to visit the popular Martinimarkt in Dahn. The journey is organized by Zöpnv Süd and DB Regio Mitte and the tickets are diverse: DB and VRN and KVV tickets are valid, including the Germany ticket and the Rhineland-Palatinate ticket!
The exciting journey begins at Heidelberg Central Station, where the DB Regio regional railway truck leaves at 8:56 a.m. The route leads via Mannheim and Ludwigshafen, with further stops in Neustadt/W, Landau, Annweiler am Trifels and Hauenstein Mitte. The Zug Dahn train station reaches on time at 11:15 a.m., followed by Dahn Süd and the Bundenthal Rumbach final station at 11:30 a.m. A true adventure for hiking and cycling lovers, because the route leads along the picturesque Wieslauter, which extends to the charming Wissembourg in Alsace!
