Mannheim, Deutschland - The International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg 2024 stands at the door and promises an exciting cinematic experience! From November 7th to 17th, 2024, film fans will be taken to the world of cinema, with a selection of gripping films from all over the world. The opening film, Sharp Corner, shows the talented Ben Foster in the role of a family man who is in his Midlife Crisis. An emotional drama that will captivate the audience!

But that's just the beginning! The festival offers a variety of highlights, including the poetic drama All We Imagine as Light, which tells the stories of three women in modern India. The exciting thriller musical Emilia Pérez is available for the lovers of thrills, while the coming-of-age drama Good One ensures fresh perspectives. Animation fans can look forward to a trio of outstanding works: the tragicomic memoir of a snail, which illuminates the moving fates of two orphans, the animal adventure flow and the haunting eco -fabric savages.

The festival is also accompanied by numerous filmmakers who personally present their works. Among them is the Scottish director Lynne Ramsay, who is awarded an honorary award for her extraordinary contributions, as well as the Polish director Agnieszka Holland, who is honored with a special homage.
