Driver without a driver's license flees from the police in Freudenstadt!

in Freudenstadt there was a gripping persecution trip on Friday night, triggered by a 43-year-old driver who was evaded by a police check. The officials noticed the driver of a VW who was on the road at midnight in the Ringstrasse and wanted to stop him because there were no license plates on the vehicle.

Although the police gave significant signals, the driver continued his journey by turning over Lange Strasse into Landhausstrasse. Here he increased the speed and turned to the parking lot of the district office before swinging into an adjacent residential area. The situation escalated when the driver continued despite activated blue lights and siren, reaching speeds between 80 and 100 km/h.

The attempt to escape

The persecution trip took a dramatic turn when the driver tried to cope with a steep climb in Manbachweg. Here he switched off, which led to his vehicle to stand up. The police officers used this opportunity to arrest him on the spot. During the subsequent check, it turned out that the driver had no valid driving license and that the vehicle was no longer permitted at the time of flight.

When searching his wallet, the officials found a foreign driver's license, which was not exhibited on the accused. In the trunk of the vehicle, they also found two license plate pairs that were obviously stolen by a parked vehicle. These license plates were stolen between Wednesday and Thursday.

After completing the police measures and the necessary logging, the 43-year-old was released, but is now being investigated against several offenses. These incidents raise questions about traffic safety and prevent similar situations in the future.
