Welt in change: young people are fighting the environmental crisis!

Universität Freiburg, Deutschland - The world is in danger! Plastic waste suffocates our oceans, the climate crisis and species death are on the rise. In the middle of these challenges, the graphic novel “Welt in Change” presents the gripping stories of five young people from different corners of the earth, which courageously face the pressing problems of our time.

This impressive work was created by a team of six scientists from the Young Academy for Sustainability Research (YAS) at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (Frias). The graphic novel is aimed primarily at students and is intended to encourage them to deal intensively with the environmental crisis. A call to the act that cannot be ignored!

Invitation to the book presentation

On December 4, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., the highly expected book presentation takes place in the Frias. All interested parties are cordially invited to take part in this special event. Some of the authors will give insights into their work and are available for questions and conversations at the subsequent reception. Free copies of the book are available for press representatives - an opportunity that should not be missed!
