Mild weather in Baden-Württemberg: Where is winter?

Stuttgart, Deutschland - In Baden-Württemberg, the weather remains mild and dry-and for a while! The meteorologists are flexible over the continued temperatures that will fluctuate between 15 and 17 degrees in the coming days. While the sun flashes through the high fog sporadically, there are no signs of rain. A cold slump? None! Diploma meteorologist Dominik Jung von Wetter.net has the latest forecasts in view until mid-November and can give the all-clear.

The permanent high remains unchallenged

The thick winter jackets and scarves can remain in the closet. Even on the weekend, November 2 and 3, it will only cool down to 11 degrees, but there is nothing to be seen from frosty temperatures. According to the American weather model GFS, the high air pressure remains until at least November 12th, which means that the region remains largely dry. Only in the Hochrhein and southern Upper Rhine could light rain.

winter dreams in danger

Hope for a winter baking is further steamed by the weather models. The Climate Forecast System (CFS) predicts a temperature deviation of 1 to 2 degrees above the climate agent from 1991 to 2020 for the months of December to February. It can sometimes be colder in winter, but the probability for a mild winter is high. Meteorologist Jung warns: "Winter fantasies are currently being destroyed!" So far, the balance sheet does not show any signs of a cold winter. The citizens of Baden-Württemberg can therefore prepare for an atypical warm November weather.
