In a shocking incident in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district, a five-year-old boy was seriously injured in a traffic accident. On Wednesday morning, an 87-year-old driver overlooked the child when it crossed the street on a pedestrian traffic light with a relative. Instead of stopping immediately, the driver continued her journey and left the injured child behind!

The dramatic events played in Neustadt (Dosse). Fortunately, the senior citizen returned to the scene of the accident a short time later and reported as a cause of the accident. The boy was immediately taken to a clinic where he had to be taken care of.
