Freiburg shines: 19 magnificent Christmas trees adorn the city!

The anticipation for the festive season increases in Freiburg! From November 19, 2024, the Europaplatz will be decorated with an impressive 17 meter high Christmas tree. This magnificent tree, which comes from the municipal star forest, will be set up on Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Drivers and pedestrians should prepare for possible traffic disruptions, while the garden and civil engineering office (well) brings the festive splendor into the city.

19 Christmas trees for the city

A total of 19 Christmas trees in the urban area and the surrounding towns will be set up this year. As usual, citizens' associations and private institutions are active and contribute to the festive atmosphere by placing further Christmas trees in different locations. Freiburg thus transforms into a winter wonderland that makes the hearts of citizens and visitors beat faster.
