Christmas Eve in Herrenzimmern was shaped by festive sounds when the music band Lyra men's rooms played Christmas carols under the direction of conductor Alexander Higi. The visitors to the St. Jakobuskirche were warmly welcomed with musical performances on the church forecourt. The musicians divided into three groups and entertained the residents at various corners of the place.

The performance delighted the residents of men's rooms who enjoyed the atmospheric atmosphere. Thanks and recognition also came from Bernd and Heike Mauch, a couple of the Sonnenwirtshaus, who invited the musicians to mulled wine, punch and Christmas bredle in the inn.
