A new star in the construction sky of Böblingen! With the opening of his brand new location in Böblingen, Storz-BWi has taken a huge step into the future. The Tuttlinger Verkehrswegebau-Riese is expanding its sphere of influence in the southwest of Baden-Württemberg and is now aiming at the Stuttgart area. Under the leadership of the new division head Marcus Weller, not only the bridge repair is driven up, but also the renovation of rain overflow pools, sewage treatment plants and parking buildings.

The numbers speak volumes: In Baden-Württemberg, 730 of 7,300 bridges urgently need to be renovated or replaced! The Ministry of Transport in Stuttgart raises the alarm, and Storz-BWi reacts. At the opening of the new location, Susanne Gräfin Kesselstatt, the managing partner, and Marcus Weller emphasized the immense importance of this expansion. "We bring our services directly to the Stuttgart area, where we already have two major projects in Sindelfingen and Böblingen," says Weller.

Weller is determined to intensify the cooperation between the various branches in Ravensburg, Tuttlingen, Sigmaringen and Donaueschingen. "We want to realize hybrid projects that combine road construction, repair and new construction," he explains. But the challenges are huge: the reduction of budgets for the renovation of infrastructures is very concerned about Kesselstatt. "We cannot allow only a fraction of the necessary bridge renovations to be carried out annually," she warns.

In addition, the industry is faced with an acute shortage of skilled workers. The relocation of the location to Böblingen is known by Kesselstatt as a "milestone", with the aim of strengthening and expanding the area of building institutions sustainably.
