On September 26, 2024, 130 fire brigade commanders from the Ravensburg, Sigmaringen and Lake Constance districts gathered in the multi -purpose hall in Horgenzell for the first regional conference. The conference, under the direction of the three district fire chief, offered a platform for exchange about current developments and strategies for coping with future challenges. Topics such as joint instructions for crisis situations, harmonized alarm structures and important insights into data protection and data backup were on the agenda. The importance of cross -district cooperation, which has already proven itself in the flood events in May and July 2024, was particularly emphasized. The collaboration between the three counties has taken an impressive development. A strong partnership has formed since the merging of the control center structures of Sigmaringen and Ravensburg in 2011 and the connection of the Lake Constance district in 2018. The contracting agreement of the integrated control center Bodensee-Oberschwaben in 2023 offers a solid foundation for even closer cooperation in the future.
