The anticipation for the Lake Constance Christmas in Friedrichshafen is huge! On Friday, November 29th, the Christmas market will open at the Buchhornplatz at 6 p.m. Mayor Andreas Hein and Dean Bernd Herbinger will initiate the opening ceremony with musical accompaniment of the "wind strengths" wind ensemble. Until December 22nd, visitors can immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere and enjoy Lake Constance in its winter splendor.

a festival of the senses with 51 huts

With 79 market dealers who offer their goods in 51 lovingly decorated huts, a real paradise for shopping fans and gourmets will be created. From international specialties to handicraft gifts - there is something for everyone here! On the Buchhornplatz and Romanshorner Platz, visitors can not only buy gifts, but also be pampered with delicious treats and warming drinks. In addition, 20 local clubs, schools and city twinning are represented with their own stands and enrich the offer.

shine and glitter: Christmas tree and pyramid

At the center of the Lake Constance Christmas, an impressive eight meter high Nordmann fir, decorated with 200 red balls and 4800 lights, which gives the square a magical atmosphere. A 13 meter high Christmas pyramid is built as a shining gate to the lake and welcomes guests from Constance, Austria and Switzerland. The traditional crib is also not missing and ensures contemplative moments.

The opening times of the Christmas market are from Monday to Thursday from 12 noon to 8 p.m. and on Fridays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. At the catering stands, visitors are allowed to linger until 10 p.m. The daily program can be found on the Christmas market homepage.

A highlight for the little visitors is Nikolaus, who will come with small surprises on Friday, December 6th, from 6 p.m. There is also a carousel, a mini railway and numerous creative offers in the media house on the lake and in the school museum. On the stage, various ensembles ensure a varied entertainment program that makes the Christmas season even more festive.
