Fischbach train station: New tenant wanted - culinary turn to 2025!

Around the Fischbach train station in Friedrichshafen there are brand hot news! The culinary orientation has recently changed drastically, when the Brazilian grill specialties were exchanged for the first time in the history of the Brazilian train station for Swabian and Bavarian delicacies. Haxen, cheese spaetzle and Schnitzel have been delighted to inspire guests since the end of February. But now, hardly used to the new gastronomic concept, the next surprise is in the house: a surprising new lease is being tackled!

On December 22, Reinhard Klumpp, the managing director of Culina GmbH, will resign responsibility for the restaurant in Fischbach train station. "After six successful years," said Klumpp, "it is the right moment for us to focus on our other offers." The decision came unexpectedly, but Klumpp wants to concentrate more intensively on existing projects, including the popular gastronomic offers in downtown Häfler and the events on the ships MS Zeppelin and MS Lindau. The Rodizio restaurant opened in Fischbach in 2018 after gastronomy previously broke out there for four years. In 2014, the previous operator Peter Berchtold reported bankruptcy, which caused the city of Friedrichshafen to reclaim the heritage law.

Now there is responsibility with the city administration team, which is looking for a new tenant on January 1, 2025. The listed Fischbach train station with its inviting beer garden and up to 420 seats is leased for five years, including a large part of the inventory. The next step in the gastronomic history of the train station is uncertain, but one thing is certain: the search for a new perspective for this cultural landmark has started!
