Oberschwabenschau 2023: Discover tractors and discover organic market hall!

The Upper Swabia Show is just around the corner and preparations are in full swing. From October 16, visitors can expect an exciting fair in the exhibition center in Ravensburg, which offers a wide range of attractions. Organizers expect between 60,000 and 70,000 guests who can look forward to diverse activities and special exhibitions. In addition to traditional offers, there will be exciting new growth.

A highlight of the fair is the tractor cup, which gives visitors the opportunity to climb into the driver's seats of the agricultural vehicles. Prices can be obtained in a skill course, which not only ensures entertainment, but also proves the practical skills of the participants.

adjustments in the exhibition center

As in many large -scale events, there were also some logistical changes. Due to construction work around a new parking garage, the exhibition center will be smaller than usual. "Instead of the usual special show in the agricultural tent, visitors will meet a construction site this year," says Stephan Drescher, the trade fair chief. Nevertheless, the new parking garage from 2025 should also be accessible to the guests of the Upper Swabia Show.

In the Agraria specialist hall, trade visitors can explore innovations from agriculture. This hall has increased from 300 to 750 square meters in the past five years, which underlines the increasing relevance of the latest technologies in the industry. The exhibitors show everything from GPS-controlled machines to innovative systems for milking and feeding routine. Karl Josef Duffner, a main exhibitor, emphasizes the importance of personal encounters at the fair, which are essential for the collaboration and networking.

special guests and events

Another highlight is the citizens' reception of the city of Ravensburg, which will take place on October 19. Here the Baden-Württemberg Minister of Agriculture Peter Hauk is expected as a guest of honor, and Minister of Social Affairs Manne Lucha is also expected to take part. Such political presence increases the importance of the Upper Swabia Show as a platform for the exchange of ideas and visions in the field of agriculture and rural development.

The fair runs until October 20 and opens its doors every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of exhibitors and interactions. More information about the program, arrival and ticket prices are available on the website of the Upper Swabia Show. With an innovative mix of new events and proven Estará attractions, the Upper Swabia show an unforgettable event for everyone involved, which shows how important the exchange is in agriculture.
