Fire brigade Biberach impresses with a spectacular autumn exercise in town center!

A spectacle of the fire brigade! Last Saturday, the new town center in Biberach turned into an exciting training area when the fire brigade carried out its autumn exercise. Through traffic was closed at 2 p.m. and around a hundred spectators, including many children and some municipal councils, came to observe the impressive rescue scenarios. Smoke quoll from windows, blazed flames, and the noises of the compressors filled the air - a real thrill for the young and old spectators!

The exercise was a true masterpiece of coordination! The quick action and teamwork was trained with six fire engines and around 30 firefighters from Biberach and Prinzbach as well as eleven emergency services from the Red Cross Biberach. The emergency services practiced the safe handling of breathing apparatus and technical assistance in traffic accidents. The demonstration for the "correct handling of kitchen fires", which was prepared for the audience, was particularly exciting. Moderated by Patrik Dreilich and Florian Möller, the exercise was a complete success!

The highlight of the exercise was not long in coming: shortly after 2 p.m. quoll white smoke from a window of the town hall! A young man desperately called for help. Minutes later, the fire engine of the Biberach fire brigade raced. The train driver jumped out, immediately gave commands, and the attack group explored the building under respiratory protection. The comrades from Prinzbach and the aerial ladder from Zell a. H. a. The firefighters rolled out hoses while the Prinzbach hydrants opened - an impressive interaction of the forces!

The exercise took place under friendly, albeit cold late autumn weather, and the upset fog gave the scenery a dramatic note. During the breaks, the children were able to testify in the fire engines and experience the exciting world of the fire brigade up close. A day full of action and instructive moments!
